Description:
The VIANEN Spantile Ventilation Ceiling is a flexible low maintenance solution for kitchen ventilation. The ceiling can be installed to cover the full area of the kitchen making it possible to be flexible in the layout in catering equipment and simplify addition of equipment.
The Spantile ceiling cassettes consists of three elements which combine to provide extract areas with high efficiency grease filtration, low velocity draught free supply areas and inactive passive areas. The stainless steel filter cassettes are fabricated in a 500 mm width allowing cleaning in commercial dishwashers. A light plan is integrated in the ceiling and consists of V-ITL light fittings designed to give an even level of illumination upon the cooking and preparation areas.
With the automatic wash down system which cleans the system with hot water and detergent the Spantile ventilation ceiling has a high level of hygiene. The control cabinet controls the wash down program which is programmed to frequently flush down the channels. The system controls the temperature and pressure of the water and the amount of detergent.
Fabrication:
The VIANEN Spantile Ventilation System consists of three different cassettes fabricated from 1.0mm thick type 304 stainless steel with all visible surfaces ultra fine grain satin polished The cassette dimensions are 500 x 500 mm.
- Double skinned arched active cassettes for vapour and grease extraction with an extract rate of 125 m³/h.
- Single skinned arched passive cassettes to be placed in parts of the kitchen where air movement through the ceiling is not required.
- Single skinned arched supply cassettes for replacement air with a supply rate of 100 m³/h.
The cassettes are fixed to aluminum anodized channels which are multi-purpose both as grease collection channels and suspension points. On the heading side of the cassettes a vertical edge is fitted and the other edge is beaten creating a continuous entity for easy removal. The cassettes slide through the continuous channel. Stainless steel channels are fixed along the walls.
The channels are connected to the control cabinet of the automatic wash down system with a hot water and solvent supply activated by a timer on one side and a sewer for contaminated water discharge on the other. The water-pipe system for supply of water and detergent and the drain has to be provided by a third party.
The control cabinet is fabricated from stainless steel type 304, is 800 x 800 x 250 mm in dimensions and fitted with a lock. A soap tank is included with detergent, the information about the system is shown on a control display. Water connection is 3/4″ and has a temperature of minimum 65 °C.
